Normbc9,

Thank you for the lead. Unfortunately, while Drake has some excellent products, they have nothing in the era we need. I do appreciate your offer of help.

23hack,

I am doing a follow-up at local commercial shops, as well as other on-line options -- thank you for the thoughts.

I will phone them tomorrow --- thanks!!

The other cutters I've spoken with claim that their machines will not handle the small size when it comes to beveling.

This site limits me to 1/4 inch glass, while the matching mirror is 5/16 inch, but I can certainly make up for that!

Marty,

If this becomes a hassle let me know. I have an old (1896) Victorian I live in. Beveled glass is the house hallmark. I use a glsss man in San Francisco who is going on 80 but loves the profession. He does jobs that I think his rig he has willaccomodate (old, old shop) and I'll ask him. If he does I'll send you the information. OK?

Norm, I appreciate that. I'll do some prospecting between metings at the Hershey Flea Market next week.

David has found a place in the DC area and I'll check them out too, but it appears they are limited to 1/4 inch glass, and mine is 5/16 inch with a 1/2 inch bevel nd slightly rounded corners.

I would be happy to make a tracing of the one good one I have as a sample. At your convenience, would you please email me your contact info so I can send you the tracing, in the event that I don't come across one?
