These cars are underapreciated - I saw this all original example at the car show I was at in Rehoboth this past week. It looks kind of like a mini Grand National.

I thought those of you that appreciate these or appreciate Buicks that run below the radar would enjoy seeing this one.

("Looks like a mini-Grand National" . . . until you put your foot in the throttle)

They WERE some nice cars, even now. There might have been some turbo 4cyl (Brazilian 2.0L 4 cylinder?) versions, as Pontiac did? All things considered, might make a decent driver in modern times . . . even considering how somewhat unrefined that particular GM platform might have been bach then.

"Future Collectible"?

Just some thoughts,

Doubt there are many left to collect. These niche cars should and could be collectible as long as gas stays at $4.00 a gallon.

Was that the one which was in Concord this summer? It's actually an awesome little car. Stick shift, although I can't recall if it was a 4 or 5 speed.

I used to have a plain jane one a long time ago, and I really liked it.

My best friend in high school had a plane jane 88 Skyhawk, brand new until one night he was driving some friends home from church took a left turn......right off a cliff. He and his friends survived with minor injuries, the car obviously did not. A UPS driver that used to make routine deliveries at my old job had one and he called it a skychicken.
