hubcap identification

can someone identify these hubcaps? obviously they are not volkswagen as the guy at the garage sale where i bought them at tried to convince me of. must be some name that has a double V in it. also note differences (over time?) between the two. all silver one, V bottoms intersect bottom circle, first V intersects second V in bottom third, top circle ends on left arm of second V, three horizontal bars each side of circle. red painted one, V bottoms do not intersect bottom circle, first V intersects second V in center, Top circle crosses left arm of second V, no horizontal bars. any help would be appreciated. i have an extensive library but can't find such a make anywhere in the world. maybe South American? Russian?

replying to my own post, after reading some stuff on the forum. it never occurred to me to turn the hubcap the other way. is it MM? Marmon?

It could be "Willys" like the hubcaps found on the Jeepster.

you are both absolutely right. boy, do i feel like a dummy. willys never occurred to me. after michel88 reply, i googled willys, found that the silver one is 1937 willys model 37 found here

didn't find the slightly different red painted one, but nevertheless, Willys, no doubt. thanks for the help. great site. i'm glad i joined, i'll be here often.

Julians, if you don't find what you need at obselete's website, let me know. i only have the one silver one, and the red painted one. bought them at a garage sale for a dollar each and hung them on my garage wall for decoration. If you want it, i will give it to you at no charge, but shipping to Australia from the US would be expensive. If it is still worth it to you, i will ship it to you for the cost of shipping. Let me know.
