Guest 49special
Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knows what speakersizes were in a 1965 Riviera orginal?I'm a new member also from sweden. I bought a 65 Riviera, sold new in sweden, last winter and have enjoyed riding it all summer. It's a low milagecar with alot of options. It has runned approx 95000 miles and has a repaint done in the 90's (orginalcolour). It's the best ride I ever have had and def a keeper. I've owned a couple of Buicks before but this is by far the best built car I've ever owned.I'll post pictures later.thanks, Johnny V
RivNut
The front speaker is a 4"x10" and the rear is a 6"x9". If you're using your original radio, you'll want to find someone who sells speakers for classic cars. The speakers need to be 8 - 10 ohm speakers to work with the factory radio. The front speaker also need to be fairly narrow to fit over the radio without interference. This vendor has been mentioned quite a few times in the past.http://www.turnswitch.com/speakers.htmEd Edited September 16, 2012 by RivNut (see edit history)
