dzchevy
Does anyone have information on the original 1929 chevy hot air heater. I need the part that goes under the floor board and receives the hot air. I can make it if I knew the dimensions etc. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.. 29 Chandler
Doug we have one on our 1929 Chandler. I don't know how similar it is to what was on a Chevy, but I can send pictures.
Chris
dzchevy
Chris,
Thanks for the response. The one on the 1929 chevy , I believe is specific to chevy. It wraps around the exhaust pipe in 2 pieces and ducts into the car at the floor board in front. I am missing the piece that mounts on the underside of the floorboard. I am also in the vintage chevrolet club of America but have had no response in 2 years on this item. I was hoping that someone who has one would respond and I could make the piece up from dimensions. I can make something up but it would be nice to make a copy of what it originally looked like. I saw one on a chevy at a AACA show in Lake Placid, NY several years ago but did not take pictures or get the name of the person since I didn't have my car at that time. doug
