Guest JohnPackers
I am new to this site. I was wondering if someone could help me out identify a car part. I picked it up at a estate sale. I have no idea what kind of part it is or what it came off from. I looked everywhere to find the answer. I attached some pictures of it. It does work. I am trying to find out exactly what it came off from, value, and if its rare. Here is some information I found on it..Motometer Gauge & Equipt. Corp. Lacrosse, WIS Motovox 6 volt #17560Any info would be really cool. Thanks !!!John

hddennis
Looks very similiar to 1933-4 Ford horn.Howard Dennis
Restorer32
That was my guess, '33-'34 Ford. Not particularle rare. No real idea of the value but I would guess $100 or less considering the cost of replating it. Looks like an E-Bay item to me.
Dave Mellor NJ
As the other guys said, this horn is in the style of a 33-34 Ford but it's a modern copy. On the original, only the top cover and the horn projector about an inch back from the front edge are chromed. The elbow is black. Also it has a much larger edging around the cover. Your horn might be of interest to a rodder but they usually want pairs
