Has anyone fit 16 x 8" Iroc alloys under thier 65-67 Skylark?

I have a 66 also and would like to if they fit when you try them.

The wheels fit--SNUG--but they DO fit...<BR>They look good, and you won't believe how well the car handles now.<P>However, the front tires rub when turned to extreem L or R. AND You will need to put longer lug nuts and bolts to torque the wheel down safely.<P>btw, they are 245/60 16's.

I currently have 16x8 weld wheels on my 67 GS with 4 1/2" backspacing,they fit good,by the way i am selling them i have a post on the buy and sell,check it out.<P>Thank you<BR>George
