Guest carlnut
If you are talking about the tapered roller brg on the axle then you will need to have it pressed on. don't forget to adjust the axle end play, both axles off the ground. Guest carlnut
hello thanks got the bearings on now whatsthe best way to check the end play i dont have one of those gauges they show in the manualWith both wheels off the ground you want to adjust the shims until you have a small amount of end play. This is the play for both axles because there is a floating block on the spider gear pin that both axles rest against. I do not remember the end play Chrysler asked for but to do it right you should get a dial indicator to measure with. Do not set it up with any preload.
