BUICK RACER Posted September 3, 2012 Share Posted September 3, 2012 yes, 5 qts is the correct amount when changing the filter. Back in the day the filter was typically changed at every other oil change, so hence the 4 quarts on the dip stick.This also applies to the Buick 350 and 401 and 425 with PF24 filter use. I am driving the car on a 250 mile round trip this Saturday, driving to an All Buick Show in Stillwater, MN and I want to make sure everything is ok for the trip. I am looking forward to it.
