JACK M
So I bought this goofy ariport mule at an estate auction recently. I am making an attemt to get it running then I will most likely sell it.I will take some pictures sometime soon, but for now I am more focused on the starter motor which has spit out the drive end bushing and causes the motor to bind and wont turn up fast enough to start the flathead engine.I am wondering if one of you guys could decifer the engine number. I think this is a 1952.The number on the pad is 'IND5A248333'.Thanks in advance.

Guest DodgeKCL
The IND is almost certainly 'industrial'. The 248333 will be the sequential production number. The 5A is most likely the model of the engine.
