Blue90
Would someone please tell me what's involved in removing the front bumper? The FSM says to remove the fog lamp harnesses and then eight plate to absorber nuts. Somehow I get a feeling it's more than that. Thanks
NCReatta
Nope, that's it!
Blue90
Thanks Marck. Is there easy access to the nuts and are they typically rusted? The car is an '89 in a junkyard so I'm preparing myself for laying down on hard gravel. At least it'll be dry.BTW I hope all went well re to that pickup. NCReatta
Sure thing, Stanley! They're pretty easy to get at. They're typically not rusted. They're 13mm bolts just a hint. I got your message, but I barely had time to stop and give you a call back. I apologize. If you have some time in the next couple weeks, I'm still looking at buying it. Also, I'm interested in some parts from that '89 if you want to make some $$. Thanks,Marck
johnemac
I may be mistaken since its been awhile; so it might be a Blazer instead of a Reatta, but I thought there were squarish shims in several locations. One location would have three stacked and another might have had four. If so one would need to know how many went to each location so the alignment would be proper. If not....never mind!
