I am looking for all kinds of help on what is presumed to be a 1924 REO Speedwagon. It has been modified somewhat, but has a lot of REO orginal parts. It has been a driver, but I haven't had it running since I bought it. I am not looking to make it perfect, but would like it to be a driver. I don't actually have access to get pictures on here yet, but will shortly and will put pictures on here.

Jack , I had a 1926 REO T6 car , I purchased it 1976 , the REO had not run since 1959 . Cleaned the gas tank and loosened up the carburetor and it ran every summer until 1991 .When I had to sell the REO . Very dependable and well made . Looking for REO parts 36 years ago was a job then , and now ? At least you have the internet . I would join the REO club . Lots of friendly people there , like here . I met a gentleman this summer in Georgetown , Ontario , Canada who owns a 1928 ?? REO Speedwagon , the front looks like my 26 REO . He is a REO member , and would probably have some help full information for you . The REO Club and the AACA club have a library with a sorts of information . There is a Manual for sale on E bay that covers REO cars from the 20's to 30's . Ask the man who is selling the manual , to scan a page from the era of your REO and if it looks like it will help you , buy the Manual . From my own experience , there is not a lot out there about REO's . Also read through the postings Titled REO in this forum , there is interesting information in there . All the best , in your adventure . I still remember my experience . Mark
