Barney Eaton
A few months back I posted about a lunch in Anderson Ind. The dates and details are now firm and I want to invite anyone living in the area to attend. This started with 3 Reatta owners and presently looks like we will have 12, plus wives and guests. Date ..... Sept 12 2012Lunch will be at noon, try to be there around 11:30Location .... Elks Lodge, 1803 Broadway St Anderson Ind. Lodge phone # 765-643-5351I do not know Anderson very well so I cannot tell you much about where the lodge is located, Google the address. The lodge has a menue so you will order your choice of lunch and pay for what you order. So far there are the locals from the Indianapolis area, one Reatta owner from Toledo and Tom Selander is coming down from Grand Rapids. I will be there because the wife and I have a HS class reunion in Frankfort on 9/15, but we will not be driving a Reatta. I do have a good friend that lives in Anderson that owns a 1990 convertible they purchased new and I will make sure he comes. If you live within driving distance, we would like to see you there. Send me an email or post here if you plan on attending. Edited August 16, 2012 by Barney Eaton (see edit history)
padgett
I used to live in Anderson (when going to GMI I was a Delco Remy employee) but that was back when GM was worried about selling too many cars). My recollection is that the lodge is about two blocks south of Cross St on Broadway (main central N-S road) Not sure of namong now but back then it was also SR 9. Easiest way to get there from almost anywhere else is to take I-69 to the SR 32 and 69 exit east of Anderson. Take 32 west to the 109 bypass aka Scatterfield road. Go north about 3/4 mile to Cross Street (light at intersection) and turn west. At Broadway (4 lane rd) turn south and it should be about two blocks.Or contact the lodge. rguard
It was a beautiful day yesterday to attend the Reatta owner lunch in Anderson, IN. It was an enjoyable lunch and visit with other Reatta owners. We had a good turnout with about a dozen cars there. Barney, thanks for sharing your technical expertise with us! Barney Eaton
I returned home late today and and had hoped that someone had already posted some pictures. I am downloading the camera and will post some you don't have along with a list of the Reatta owners attending. There were 12 Reattas in attendance, it was great that everyone could come. Barney Eaton
Picture is from the other end of the parking lot. The 3rd car, white/red 90 convertible belongs to my friend Wayne Clore, we went to school together and he purchased the car new. It presently has 53K. I called him in advance and told him to get it cleaned up and we were taking it to the lunch. The Polo Green at the far end belongs to Tom Selander, they drove in from Grand Rapids (about 5 hours)

Barney Eaton
Today I worked the stack down to the sign-in sheet from Anderson. First I want to thank Mike Jones, Gene Phillips, and Larry Reyonlds all from Anderson, for their help in finding a place and providing name tags.I want to list the people that attended and their cars. D. Fish drove down from Toledo in a 1989 red coupeThe Clores from Anderson drove a white 1990 convertibleGene Phillips (Anderson) had his 1989 red coupeMike Jones (Anderson) with a 1989 coupeD. Hineman from Plainfield with a 1990 white convertibleJim Pierce from Carmel did not bring a ReattaFred Dalton and wife came from New Castle in a 1990 red coupeJim Campbell (Anderson) 1990 coupeCharles Durbin (Anderson)Rich Guard from Zionsville with a 1990 driftwood coupeMark Hoover from Kokomo with the black 1991 convertibleLarry Reynolds (Anderson) 1990 red convertible Tom Selander Hudsonville MI 1991 Polo Green coupe Nancy & I drove a truck. It looks like not all the wives signed in so I don't have a count on total people. And the fellow with the second Driftwood coupe did not sign in. Since the 2013 BCA national meet will be in Ft. Wayne we may try this again next year. If you want to be added to the list, send me a note and I will put you on a list for notices.
Reattatude
No Claret Reattas? Dang, if I knew about this I might have been able to join. Ft. Wayne 2013 BCA Nationals? That's probably as close as the Nationals will ever get to our neck of the woods so I better start making plans.
