Guest Davii
I am the owner of a 1969 Rivi. . .my question is this: "When the ignition is turned off on the car, should the fuel gauge indicator fall back to the "E" (Empty) setting, or was it designed to sit on a point that reflects the amount of fuel actually in the tank?"Thanks in advance for any information you might provide!Steve DavisRiviera CC #13332jstevedavis@comcast.net
68RIVGS
. . . not sure about a '69, as the fuel system is different - from the '68 Shop Manual: " When the ignition is turned off, the pointer may come to rest at any point on the dial (...guage)."So I don't think this is an indication of how much fuel is actually left in the tank Steve.
