Lozierman
It sure looks like a Stoddard Dayton. I guess the year to be 1911 or 12.
1937hd45
Yes, Stoddard had a radiator shape unlike any other. Bob
JD in KC
The flag in the photo was valid from 1908-1912.
Curti
There appear to be three parking meters on the street behind the car. Were parking meters used that early?
rhb1999
I read somewhere awhile back that, the first use of parking meters was in 1935.
JD in KC
Parking meters? In the early 1900's I'd vote for hitching posts.
Layden B
As to the radiator shape.. The corner design where it points toward the center of the radiator core is not peculiar to Stoddard-Dayton but rather a design feature of the radiator manufacturer Kinwood. It gets associated with SD as they were the most well know user but other makes used Kinwood radiators too. Years ago I had a radiator that I keep trying to identify as to model of Stoddard-Dayton only to figure out that it was off a Lexington. The SD as pictured has vertical sides while the Lexington tapered narrower at the top.
