Guest gafletch
Well, after 12 years of sitting the engine runs fine, got the trans shifting, new starter, master cylinder. What I need now is freeze out plugs. Any suggestions? Thanks, greg
Guest Texas Old Car Guy
Any good engine rebuilding shop should have them; try your closest NAPA store.
ply33
If you know the Chrysler part number then here is the cross reference information to the Dorman parts you can pick up at any decent auto supply: Plymouth Parts Interchange: Group 18 — Standard PartsIf I recall correctly, the ones on the side of the block are 1 5/8" but there are some smaller ones like the one on top of the head. JACK M
These are commonly incorrectly refered to as freeze plugs as they will tend to pop out if the engine was to freeze without an anti freeze solution in it.They are really casting plugs or core plugs.Dont rely on these to save an engine from freeze damage.
