I know these are 8 terminals on phenolic. Now are these originally copper?

I cannot for the life of me find the same ones anywhere. I have found replacement ones but nothing OEM.

Am I better off restoring the phenolic and cutting out my own copper?

I have two '49 Buicks and a 1950, all with their original headlight terminal junctions. Mine do not appear to be copper (they would be greenish if corroded copper). I don't think you need copper, provided the wire clip ends are clean and their corrosion is sanded off. That' s all that I do to mine, and they work fine.

I have replaced wiring on a 48 Roadmaster last year and the new harness's had repro blocks, I just sand blasted the orig ones and they were as good as new.

Im thinking this is where I am heading, But I am going to replace the phenalic as mine looks to be delaminating. Turns out they are not copper, but a steel ? I think rebuilding them will be my best bet for OEM. I will post them when finished.

Don't sand blast. Bead blast at about 40# pressure. Makes electrical things look, if not new, very presentable. Then mask off the electrical contact points and give them a quick coat of semi gloss rattle can clear and you're good to go............Bob

hi, you may want to look online at fusick oldsmobile parts online catalog, they have excellent reproduction wiring junction strips, i don't know if your buick has the same type as oldsmobiles, but the ones on my 1953 pontiac chieftain custom catalina are the same as what fusick has made for oldsmobiles. charles coker, 1953 pontiac tech advisor.
