I've this little dreamboat of a car, and look for excuses to drive somewhere. Problem, every time I go over a dip in the road the front suspension groans. Just a bump won't do it, it's gotta be a dip in the road so the suspension almost bottoms out. Anybody got clue how we can restore a little peace and quiet, and still drive the car. Of course, I could just turn up the radio!

Are there urethane bushings in the front end of a newer Riv? If so, they could be the culprit. Urethane bushings need lubrication. I have used white lithium grease on the bushings for my '71 GS and found that does the trick for a while.

The Service Manager tells me he has had no complaints, that there is nothing to squeak, but that if I'll bring it in "they will look at it" Because the noise only appears in below 30 degrees, and when it is dry, by the time I drive the 30 miles, the noise will be gone. I told him I'd hafta wait until the groan was an unceasing one!!!!!!!!! Cliff
