Dodge Brothers Fast Four engine and trans - rebuilt

This is completely rebuilt engine I was going to use but plans changed. Following is what was done and what is included. Block was hot tanked then magnafluxed for cracks. it was decked, bored and line bored, all thread holes were chased with a tap and any that were questionable were replaced with Heli-coils or quick certs. Valve seats were replaced, new valves were ground and then hand lapped in place. New babbet main bearings were poured and rough sized to the crank, then hand lapped to size using Time Saver lapping compound. Crank was magna-fluxed and then ground and polished. Rods were sized, new bushings installed, new babbet bearings were then poured and sized to the crank. The mains and rod bearings were then hand lapped using time saver compound for a perfect .002 fit to the crank. New pistons and rings were assembled, ring gap checked, then installed. The cam was re-ground and polished, the lifters were re-surfaced and new guides were installed in the block. New head studs were installed in the block. The valves were then adjusted to .003 and .004. The head was surfaced and a new copper head gasket installed. The timing and generator drive chain is new and the gears are perfect. Most gaskets are hand made with modern material. The oil pump is rebuilt. Intake and exhaust manifolds were assembled and surfaced flat, They were then installed with a new copper gasket. The carburetor has been rebuilt. New Champion spark plugs with custom fit Accel wires with the correct ends. The distributor was gone thru but was near perfect condition, the rotor is new but the cap is broken but included.

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS ENGINE:

The flywheel was scuffed as it didn't need to be surfaced, the throw-out bearing is good. The clutch disc was sent off and re-built, the pressure plate was scuffed but did not require machining. The transmission was rebuilt by Thompson Transmission. Rebuilt and re-coated fuel pump (vacuum can), it holds good vacuum and is recoated with Eastwood carb renew. The generator is installed and was working when we pulled the engine. The water pump was rebuilt with a new packing and bushing, the drive shaft from the generator has new rubbers installed. Even the fan pulley was disassembled and rebuilt. Included are: rebuilt transmission, bellhousing, all clutch components, all the nuts bolts and hardware, carburetor and timing linkage, fuel pump, starter, (not rebuilt but good), bell housing top and bottom with brake and clutch pedals, throw out bearing with grease hose and grease cap the goes on the floor board, speedometer cable housing with a new cable installed, fan blade, original oil and fuel lines, and DB manual. There is over $5,500 in this, not including personal labor or shipping.

The serial number on the block is D966-370, the head casting number is A-32661 with a date code of 11326.
