Guest shfree
New member and new owner of a 65 GS; it only took me 50 years to get my Riviera! I'm still solving its mysteries, and at least one remains unsolved--where the heck is the transmission dipstick? I believe I have looked in all the likely places and called on my recollection of Dad's mid-60's Olds 98s, but no luck. Here's my car:IMG_3100CROP | Flickr - Photo Sharing! Guest Rob J
Here's a pic when I removed the body from the frame. You can clearly see the tranny dip stick right behind the passenger valve cover.
Guest shfree
Thanks for the pic. I see what caused my problem. I was looking under the cylinder banks, where it would have been in an Oldsmobile, but it's actually above them.
