Hey kids, it's time for NAME THOSE TAILLIGHTS! The winner gets his or her very own personal shop slave for an entire afternoon! That is, as long as you live near our favourite ShadeTree Grease Monkey. And can go pick him up.

The bottom light is "giveaway easy" - '59 Chev. Love those gull wings! The top two are also pretty familiar to car nuts like us. The ones in the middle are tricky but just think - in whose shop is this electric art being exhibited? Now, the squarish flanking units on each side of that... Hmm, you might want to do some Googling on that puzzle.

ENTER NOW! Get your friends to help! This could be the new Trivial Pursuit, Bored Monkey version.

Lol! Sounds like a fun game Rob. I'd play if I didn't already know the answers!:D Wait a minute....shop slave?? I don't know about all that mess!:P I'll give you a hint on the squarish flanking units. They're not actually tail lights. And don't forget the one at the very top.

The one on top - well, that's the BONUS QUESTION! ('though it looks to me like a red plastic bread box. Just sayin'.)

Well, folks, it's taken us until now to sort through all of your eager entries. Before announcing the lucky winner, though, we'll fill you in on the answers:

BOTTOM: '59 Chevrolet - amazing how many of you got this wrong, after being told the answer up front. I know, I know, the excitement sometimes overtakes us.

NEXT UP, MIDDLE: '52 Buick - not hard to guess where Robert found that one.

EACH SIDE OF THAT: Um, we're a little embarrassed here. I was going to say Continental Mark III front signals but Google says otherwise. Robert?

THE "NOSE": This is awkward. I thought maybe '51 Buick. Nope. '52 Hudson? Maybe.

THE EYES HAVE IT: '57 Ford, fer sure.

FOREHEAD: Red plastic bread box, with lights.

Now it's time for the draw [cue suspenseful music]. My oh my, what a coincidence... I am the winner! Hey, it was fun, be sure to enter again real soon.

ROBERT, if I drive non-stop, I can make it to your house by Sunday morning. Probably won't get you home in time for supper, though, and maybe not to work before about Wednesday. They'll understand I'm sure. "Our" project will be changing the torque ball seal in my '57. I'll hand you the tools, you do the work.

Can't make it this weekend? Aww, too bad it was gonna be fun. Next time, then.

EACH SIDE OF THAT: fronts signals 1977-79 Thunderbird

THE "NOSE": 1947-49 Studebaker

FOREHEAD: 1979 Thunderbird(could fit quite well on a breadbox though, I modified my 79's taillights to fit a 77/78 setup because I don't care for the 79 lights)

So sorry Rob. Can't make it. Good luck on that torque ball seal though! :D

[slapping forehead] Of course! I should have looked up those truncated T-birds, knowing how they figure in your signature. The Studey I would never have guessed. They have such a distinctive front end, I forgot they have a backside, too.

So I'm my own shop slave this weekend, handing myself tools. It's gonna slow my progress, if that's even possible.
