MarrsCars
WOW! Thanks for sharing that. My friend, Tom Sehloff made this silver car and trailer that is in the museum! Again, AACA forums prove what a small world it is! That's just wonderful, I especially loved this set because it reminds me of the Lucy & Desi movie "The Long Trailer" which is still funny to watch today. Great work, I really admire this sort of craftsmanship. So tell me, does he create all new sand molds from masters he carves/creates or are they based on existing models made by other companies from the past? How many does he make a year? How many does he make a year?He starts from scratch making a basswood carving then goes to a serro-copy and then to the molds and then pours the iron himself. He then cuts, grinds and polishes until a toy emerges. I believe he still makes 50 of each of his toys.
