Guest Pitter
Hello everyone. I didn't see an "introduce yourself" section so I'll do it here. I'm a life long car buff having started reading Road & Track in high school in the early sixties. Some years ago I retired and moved to the city of Cali in Colombia, South America. The variety of old cars, trucks and 4x4s here is just fascinating and so is the history of foreign, including US vehicles assembled here. Once I learn my way around the forum I'll post some of the oddball stuff I've run accross.

Dave Mellor NJ
Were you from the US? I thought your English was too good for a Columbian.
alsancle
Welcome. I assume the weather is beautiful down in Columbia. Do the cars tend to rust in that climate?
Guest Pitter
Dave Im a retired gringo living in Colombia. Alsancle the old cars I see are mostly in and around the city of Cali which lies in a wide flat valley at about 3,200'. Temp is mostly around 85F and it's very dry. There is no such thing as rust damage which is why I see a lot of fifties era big trucks on the the road that have probobly had everything swapped out except the body. Dave Mellor NJ
Thanks for the answer. I think there's an active AACA region in Columbia if you're interested.
