Guest Jax90
 Driving in town at about 30-35mph yesterday in my '90 coupe when all of the dash lights/gauges went black, the two red warning lights came on and the a/c seemed to go from cool to heater mode. Other than that, the car drove and handled normally. After reaching my destination about 5 minutes later I turned the engine off and let it sit for about 30 seconds. I restarted and everything came up normal. Still no more problems as of today. Any thoughts about what may have caused this abberation and how I can prevent it from happening again? Ronnie
You should check all battery connections and the ground posts behind the battery, on the fenderwell. I had a similar problem that turned out to be the battery cable bolt was not tightening up properly. Even though the bolt was tight in the battery, the cable was still loose and could be moved around.

Guest Jax90
Thanks, Ronnie. This is probably my problem. Am due for a new battery anyway and probably a new neg cable too. Can't tighten this one.
