Guest BJM
Buick : Other Buick : Other | eBayPlease note the photo of the door. Is this correct for a 36 Buick door? Or what is right about it and what is wrong?
50jetback
Correct and original wood EXCEPT for the re-inforcing block at the front lower. That 6" or 8" piece of wood has been used as the lower wood has rotted and the hinge screws will have pulled out. If you look closely you can see a new bolt holding that piece on and they have probably used longer wood screws in the hinge to screw into this piece. groselle
I think everything below the window board is new (all the lighter colored wood). The cross brace should be behind the door posts right next to the door panel. I've attached a picture of the rewooded door on my 1936 Special 4 door. The wood kit came from Dave Entler. Guest born2lose
no meaning to thread jack but in my 36 body service manual it says there were all steel doors made too in 1936. I cant find any info on those or what model they came in. I would love to put them in my model
groselle
I believe the all steel doors were offered in the 1936 Chevy's.
