My 89 TC is in cherry shape but the AC needs to be recharged. I don't want to put the converter kit on it but can't find any cans of Freon that is reasonably price (found three cans for $40 each!) Anyone know where I can get some Freon cans or, if I have to, a converter kit that is removable so everything looks stock?

i think i did the one in my pickup with 2 cans, and it was empty and had r134 in it so i vacuumed it out and converted back to r12. im tempted to see if the sysytem in my 89 works, might try converting it only cause the r134 is cheaper if it doesnt work and all leaks out lol
