Pop's farm vehicle

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, I was recently given this photo by a first cousin, once removed. She said my Dad (deceased) modified this for farm use. The picture was taken on or before 1942 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and any identification and modification responses would be appreciated. The manure spreader might be a Case model but I do not expect any identification of that. Thanks in advance for any help. Bechr

They also had a kit to convert old cars to tractors. I think they called the conversions Autotrac. My dad made one out of a Whippet and he had put cast iron mower wheels on it. I hear stories of it being so geared down and having such traction with the cleated mower wheels that it tended to rear up if one wasn't careful.
