So my grandfather sold a large building he had in Kittrell, NC, and subsequently put up a new building on his property just south of Oxford NC.

The Kittrell building has been home to some of his cars for the past few years. A '63 Studebaker Avanti R-2 4-speed, a '67 Glen Pray replica Cord 8/10, And a Samco cord.

All had to be moved by this weekend. So we loaded up the e-150 and the tilt bed car trailer and headed out.

The cars had been sitting for about 6 or 8 years, so naturally they were pretty dirty. They sure cleaned up nice though!

Here are some pictures after bath and in their new home:

Oh and I managed to pick up another Reatta today. :D

He's also got another '63 R-2 4-speed (red too) with a lot of R-3 performance parts on it.. Plus a '87 convertible. He's been into Avantis since the late 60s.. If you are in the market for another one, he may have one for sale!

My apologies, Kerry. I will check on that tomorrow. :o:eek:
