jimkf
I see hints of gray paint. That tells me the head fits a 47-50 Kaiser or Frazer with the single barrel carburetor.
john2dameron
Kaiser products used Continental engines.
jimkf
Kaiser-Frazer used Continental Red Seal engines in some of the early cars but soon started their own manufacture of engines under license. It was called the Detroit Engine Division. Continental used 5 digit serial numbers and KF used 6 digit numbers and it was rumored that employees looking for a car to purchase would buy a 6 digit car because the engines were better. The Continental (Muskegon built) engine was a stationary unit converted to car use but the torque curve on the early ones wasn't right and that caused alot of valve issues.I know...lots of useless info...but it does make for interesting reading!
