straight8pontiac
What would be the proper fluid or oil to use in the front shock absorbers of a 1937 Pontiac? Thanks in advance for any help.Dave.
StillOutThere
I'm sure there was some GM oil back in the days when shocks were still refillable. I'm not aware of any such still manufactured. I have the original Monroe tube shocks on my low mile '34 Terraplane. I topped them up with hydraulic jack oil when I got the car and they have not leaked and function nicely.
