Guest ambr607
Located near Birmingham AL. I just picked this car up over in MS to serve as an organ donor for my '62 convertible project. I'll be salvaging the rockers and other sections of the body plus rear suspension parts to replace the salt-ravaged stuff on my car. Let me know if you need anything in particular and I'll see if I can provide. I won't be using the engine or trans (V-6 with 3 speed on column). The engine was running 3 years ago according to the owner but I can't confirm or deny such claims If you need either I would plan on rebuilding to be safe. 33,170 "original" miles (again I have no way of verifying). Most chrome parts are still there but the car was outside so they would need plating.
JohnD1956
While I don't need them personally, I might suggest you harvest the three speed parts. Clutch and brake pedal and the bracket if it's bolted in, the linkage rods and the throw out bearing linkage with the frame end bearing bracket ( cut the piece off the frame if you must with a generous section of frame. I would also keep at least the drive shaft yoke or the entire drive shaft if possible.Stick shift parts are not easy to find.
