Guest Bob R
I am working on a 1909 IHC autobuggy. I am looking for the cap or cover for the timer. I also need the terminal that is on the top of it. can anyone help? has anyone made one and has a die to stamp out the cap? Thanks Bob R Edited May 23, 2012 by Bob R (see edit history)
wjguthrie
Hi Bob, I have a 1913 autowagon, but water cooled. I see the timer on mine is different but it was used on other cars (not just IHC) so that cap may turn up. The terminal and pin could be made by a machinist if you had a drawing or sample. You might like the www.oldihc.org website, pre 1930 section. Jim
Guest Craig L
BobChuck a piece of aluminum round stock in a lathe and turn one. The center is a spring loaded plunger. Take the one apart you have and copy it. A friend of mine has made several that way. The only thing you won’t have is the arrows and writing on the top. I don’t know how to do that unless you have a stamp made.Craig
