Guest
Can anyone tell me what changes I will need to make to put a fwd 38000 II into a RWD 1980 buick skyhawk or is it better to just get a v6 out of a newer camaro?
Guest
I was told the 3800 II won't mate to the RWD transmissions.
Guest
You're best bet might be to use a 3800 out of a camero or firechicken. They bolt to a 4l60e, I dont know what tranny your using though. It's series II and only available '96 or newer.<P>------------------<BR>-Keith<BR>'87 Lesabre T-type (The T without WHOOSH)<BR>http://members.xoom.com/lesabrettype
Guest
The 3800 uses the same bolt pattern (or extremely similar) as the 700R4 in a 2.8 V6 Chevy S10. This is how they use the Northstar V8 in a RWD.<P><P>------------------<BR>1968 "Canadian" Pontiac Beaumont<BR>1988 Buick LeSabre T-Type<BR>
