I'm looking for at least 3 Buick wheels that would fit a Special. I don't mind going with the wider 6.0" wheels, but I'd need a full set of 5 for that, as I have 2 of the original 5.5". Thanks in advance!

Mike,

Check with Ken Reeves at Wheatbelt Antique Auto, just south of you in Carrier,OK 580-855-2499 email: wheatbeltbuick@att.net

Good people to deal with. I got parts for my 56 I rebuilt last year.

Bob's has lots of good repro parts: Bob's Automobilia 805-434-2626 They are good folks also.

My son lives in Wichita.

Join the Buick Club of America, their monthly magazine, the Bugle has lots of good ads.

Thanks Jerry! I spoke with Chuck, the local BCA president, today and he gave me a good rundown on the BCA. I'll definitely be joining!

I forgot all about Wheatbelt Buick! I'll call tomorrow, thanks!

I've got a set of '59s...at least I think they are. I took them off a '59.

Interested?

Airbrush,

I don't know if they will fit, but if you can take some measurements, and maybe a couple pics, that would be great!

Rim diameter?

Rim width?

Backspacing?

Price/shipping?

Thanks!

Mike, I have a package that might be of interest to you. I changed out the wheels on my 55 Special for a Wire Wheel/Coker Radial combo. Thus I have four wheels (which have been sandblasted down to the metal and ready for the correct Buick red paint); four Buick hubcaps with the red plastic center all in good shape and four two-ply whitesidewall tires that are probably 40 or so years old, but with plenty of tread on them. All in all, a nice correct look for the 55. If you'd like pictures, send your e-mail address to me at jstevedavis@comcast.net. I planned to list them for sale on the Forum and on e-Bay as a package, but just haven't had time to get around to it. Price to be determined if you're interested in the package. I live in Santa Fe so shipping has to factor into your decision. Steve Davis BCC#46041

Just wanted to update. I went down and picked up a full set of 5 from Ken at Wheatbelt. Really enjoyed the 2 hour chat!
