Guest ambr607
I'm breaking down the 215 and so far no ugly surprises. Slack in the timing set measures 9/32" - what is spec for a healthy timing set?
NTX5467
A little over 1/4" doesn't sound too bad. I don't know if there was ever a "factory spec" on this, just kind of knowing what looks "loose". How much visible wear is on the cam sprocket? When you did this measurement, had you rolled the engine over to get the tension side tight, first? To give the max amount of slack on the other side?Just some thoughts,NTX5467
