Pete Phillips
Working on a 1935 50-series Buick and the Marvel carburetor has a very poorly made after-market float which floods it with gas and does not work right. Carb. # is 10-1577 which is the correct one for this car. Does anyone have a float for it, or one I can borrow from which to make one? Already tried Antique Auto Parts Cellar--they don't have a float but would be happy to sell me a rebuild kit for $225. Tried the Carburetor Shop in Eldon, Missouri, but can't get through by phone or email yet.Pete Phillips, BCA #7338Leonard, TX

jscheib
Pete,If you have not yet had any luck, I thought I read an old thread about using later model Chevy floats for carbs in the later '30s Buicks.Good Luck.John
