Dodgy6
I could be posting a few threads like this. They may seem dumb but there is a lot of things I don't know about my DA yet - and I've never seen one in the flesh.Could someone tell me what this broken spring is for? I'm assuming at the moment it has something to do with pedals (clutch??). Right hand drive. It is hanging off the cross-member at the rear of the engine. 80+ yrs of crud on there don't help either! Bob Zetnick
Yeah, it looks like the clutch or brake pedal spring that would bring them back into proper position after pressing the pedals down.
Guest johnhorace
Looks similar to the brake and clutch return springs on my '33 Dodge sedan.

Guest 1930
Good spot Jason!I can now "bag and tag" it. They used these same springs for quite a few years after this but spuratically in different models, at least that is what I have run across. Makes it a little easier to find replacements
