Guest 4ACESAAAA
I HAVE A RESTORED 1932' FORD 2 dr. PHAETON. I CAN FIND VERY LITTLE INFO ON THESE CARS. I HAVE HAD IT TOTALY DOWN TO BARE METAL AND FIND NO ALTERATIONS IN THE BODY. SOME SAY THIS CAR WAS NEVER BUILT. I'M LOOKING FOR ANY INFORMATION THAT MAY BE OUT THERE ABOUT THESE CARS. THANKS, BILL
West Peterson
Never by Ford, is what I've been told. I know there has been at least one "built" and shown at Amelia Island concours a few years ago. Who built it and when, I'm not sure. It was fairly recent, though. Can you post photos of your car? History? What do you know about it?
West Peterson
Correction: the 2-door phaeton I saw at Amelia Island was a 1935... also an oddity.

TailfinEra
If you get a chance google 1932 Ford Type 18 Special. These are the only 2-door phaeton-ish '32's that I can think of. Of course they are german built Fords, but that was all I could think of when I saw this thread. Not really sure of any 2-door phaeton's made in Dearborn though. Would love to see pictures of your car if you are able to post them.
