1920 Pierce Arrow Model 48 Dual Valve 7 Passenger Touring

Recommended Posts

This 1920 Pierce Arrow Model 48 Dual Valve 7 passenger touring car has had only three owners and has traveled about 38,000 miles since new. The last owner purchased the car in about 1970 and owned it until last year. It is likely to be the most authentic and correct dual valve 7 passenger in existence. The body has never been off the frame. It was repainted, re-upholstered and re-topped about 50 years ago but the car looks like it was redone about 10 years ago. Mechanically, it has been recently serviced and runs and drives excellent. This is an exceptional example of one of the most significant nickel-era touring cars ever made and these rarely are offered for sale-especially when they are as original and as correct as this example. With its 525 cid engine and 142" wheelbase, this king of the road touring car will be a welcomed candidate for any long distance driving events and will also make a statement at any major show or concours d'elegance. It has been invited to participate in the 2012 St. John's Concours. Chassis/Engine Number 514457. The price is xxx,000.00 or near offers and it is located near Ann Arbor, Michigan. Please call or email to schedule and viewing and a test drive-you will certainly not be disappointed or to request more photos and information. Thank you.
