Guest 1stopcom
Got these out of an estate storage, I'm stumped. Researched for matches all day, no luck. First is a grill, looks Ford maybe, has a Blackstone Made in the USA sticker on it. Second is an 8100 Chevrolet logo, which I don't know what it belongs on. Followed by an International one. And the 3 Grills roughly 10" x 17". Any ideas?
Guest prs519
I imagine you already recognize that the first Chev would be a VERY large Chev truck, considering isn't a 3100 a 3/4 or a one ton? I believe the second one would be a larger International truck to, possibly earth moving equipment. The third one baffles me completely -- is it the one with the label upon it?Perry
Manuel
Pics 3 + 5 look like a 1946-48 Ford grill.Manuel in Oz
Guest prs519
Manuel it sure nuf does! Is it the one with the label? That would make it a repro 46-48 Ford. Dull finish most likely pickup or commercial of some type.Perry
Manuel
Well its obviously not stainless steel.I can't see the label anywhere on pics 3 + 5.Manuel in Oz
Guest 1stopcom
the label is located on the top of the grill, only identifier I've found on it. Aftermarket maybe?
Dave Mellor NJ
If you lay those grilles sideways they look like this 42 Ford. I count 20 bars on each.

Manuel
Yes thats the 42 grill. It only went for one year [WW2 got in the way]. That convert is nicely done!!46-48 grills were the same.Manuel in Oz
Dave Mellor NJ
Those grille pieces are hard to find. I have the center piece but it's plain steel for the military version
