I just noticed Steve Moskowicz's announcement about the new AACA website that will be available mid-April or so.

In the process of getting wrapped up in all things Reatta, we quite often and too easily, lose sight of the fact that it is the AACA that makes this Forum available to us.

I am in the process of renewing my membership and feel that everyone would enjoy the benefits of membership. Their publication is a real work of art and really makes you realize how deep the interest in all of the older cars is. Yep Virginia, there are cars ouside of the '88/'91 ones we Reattaphiles care about so much!

On behalf of the entire AACA staff, thanks for the compliments. I am very honored to be a part of the AACA staff, all of whom bend over backwards and go above and beyond the call of everyday duty to make sure AACA members are taken care of. Problems? Yes, with a club this size there are problems. Do they get ignored or swept under the rug? Definitely not. All problems are dealt-with at HQ, even though its a club. Next year, when early Reattas are AACA eligible, we look forward to seeing them on the judging field, and on tour.

I also joined the AACA this year and very much enjoyed the Antique Automobile magazine especially the Tom Mix Cord story.

I also belong to the AACA and enjoy the magazine. It is really first class. I live 20 miles from where the Mix car was restored and didnt even know about it. I ran a Wal-Mart in Arkansas City Kansas where the car was on display at a car show and missed it there also. When I read the article I just assumed that the car must still be somewhere around Kansas, and the owner is from Kansas, but no I understand he does not live in Kansas anymore, Bummer

Some day maybe I will get to see that car. I thought the car might be kept in the Mix museum in Oklahoma. Maybe some day it will be

Dave, if your issue is not there by now call the office at 717-534-1910 and we will mail you another one. Next issue you can read on line with your member number!

To everyone else, thank you! We don't ask for the thanks or accolades but it is nice when people recognize that this site is expenssive and time consuming but our club does it for the good of the hobby. So, enjoy and we welcome those of you who have joined our great club.

Happy holidays!
