Guest Kingsley
I think you will find the seller to be the gentleman who is Franco944 (I will double check this) on the Forum. I have had the pleasure of working with him and he is a staight up kinda of guy.
Guest mgibson
Just look thru the pictures. The next to the last one is an invoice with the seller's name, address and phone number.

SeanR
Looks like a fun convertible, like the color keyed wheels. That last underside body photo made me cringe a little. Per that vehicle inspection report, rust is subjective. It may be surface rust, but some of the body pan gaskets and control arm?, appear rusted further than the body and may need a closer inspection. At minimum, the underside could use a good scrubbing and a touchup. Not knocking the car or seller, just appears the car is in a more rust prone area due to road salts. I looked under my 45k Reatta, and not a sign of rust anywhere, the prior owners must have drove it in dry weather only. ;\If I were to own this, I'd also scrub down that interior and put a good coat of Leatherique. franc944
Some suggestions I received were to wire brush the bottom and apply an undercoat of just not show photos of the undercarriage. If I were Bidding on or buying the car I'd want all the information I put out and not just fluff.Especially with eBay I don't want to hide anything and have the bidder not pay.It really is just an honest car that would be a cruise night special or drive to work on sunny days. I realize it is probably not a10,000 car. What I get is what I get. I do apprEciate the feedback and tips.
padgett
I agree. My white car spent some time in NH and I spent about three days underneath with wire brush and rustolum shortly after acquisition (tend to be somewhat fanatical about rust). Even so is the reason it makes a great driver (is really my DD now) and display (people are constantly asking "how much") but would not want to experience points judging. The foundling OTOH is that real central Florida "rust free" and could be.This car is hard to tell - see a lot of color but the muffler looks intact/original which is one of the first things to go. Might just need a good cleaning but would have to feel some of the surfaces, once they get rough there is not much to do short of a rotisserie. Do appreciate you showing those pictures (I like a shot including the catalytic converter), no one can say you were not open about it.Major issue to me would be if it has crossed the line from "eveything comes apart easily" to "expect to break/replace fasteners" which is long before "structural issues". NCReatta
I don't think the rust is anything terrible. Gas tank and other stuff looks pretty solid. Just surface rust.My white '89 was from Michigan, and I replaced EVERYTHING underneath the car. gas tank, fuel lines, brake lines, rear end, etc. It was pretty bad. the gas tank was flaking to pieces from the rust. This is barely anything comparably.Looks like a very nice car for the money. White wheels look sharp! Good luck, Franco.
franc944
Thanks fellas,I asked advice on what to do with the wheels in another thread.I ended up doing white Plasti-dip coating, topped with gloss Fusion white. Masked everything off and did the inside holes with SEM trim satin black and sharpied the buick letters.Gloss should make brake dust wash off well and black accents should hide brake dust for the new owner.Pleastidip can be removed if the new owner does not like white revealing original aluminum finish. I didn't want it looking like a select 60 fake. I think it looks ok.I needed the 17" aftermarket wheels and tires for another project and the consensus was people like oem wheels better that buy that type of car.I don't think the rust is anything terrible.
