Booreatta
Due to the fuse panel on my 89 Riviera being so difficult to reach and replace a fuse I am thinking about using a resetting fuse circuit breaker. Has anyone used one of these, and are they reliable. Any comments? Thanks Chuck Kerlsbooreatta@cox/net
Guest pfloro
I agree that the fuse panel is in a tight space. However, I would first determine what is causing the 'over current' in the circuit(s) which is(are) blowing the fuses. In the 28 years that I owned my '84 Toronado, I probably replaced only one or two blown fuses. One was caused by a back seat passenger flipping one of the cigarette lighters upside down & dropping it back into the socket. The knob directly shorted the circuit & the fuse blew...!Paul
Rivieraman
Paul I agree 110% Chuck i would find why the fuse is blowing. your title says 84 Riviera and your story says 89 what is it? If 89 the fues panel has a wing nut that lets it drop down making it easy to get to with the fues puller. Also on the 89 the fues are on the pass side
