65 Gran Sport restoration

Good observation. I also went back and looked at the passenger fender on Rich's car. From what I can tell, there is no Riviera badge on that fender, just the Gran Sport badge. What are the FB numbers on these two cars? Are they close enough together to indicate that there might have been a rookie on the line that day?

They are really close if not spot on...

Is the badge placement on Rich's barn find Gran Sport similar to mine?

The rh or passenger fender on my car had a skimmer of bondo right where the "Riviera" emblem would go. My guess is that whomever did the body work took the easy way out as those little nuts are hard to attach with the fender on the car...
