1972 Cutlass Convertible moving very slow

I have a nice 72 Cutlass Supreme with a very slow moving convertible. Does anyone have experience with this problem. I haven't discovered any leaks, and I have not thorn the system apart (yet). My suspicion is worn cylinders or perhaps the pump. The pump sounds OK but slows down a little during operation, as if it encounters heavy load. Any advice?

Sorry for posting this. I did some searches before and could not find anything on convertible problems. Once I posted this I immediately found another thread that gave me enough to go on. Please disregard this thread.

possible restriction in your lines or cylinders??.. they are easy to take apart and clean..can be kinda messy but..might solve your problem.. When I rebuilt my system I just bit the bullet and bought all new "stuff"...any problems solved...that was 25 yrs ago and it continues to work as new today..

Thanks!

Since I posted I oiled all joints in the convertible and it looks as if it helped a little bit.

I guess I will be spending this weekend going over the lines and cylinders. :)

Will update here if I have luck :)
