"Sky Parking" In Baltimore 1956

Recommended Posts

I was going to say the cars underneath better hope the ones on top aren't leakers, but I see there is a catch pan for that!

Then there's always the issue of what happens if the guy on top needs to leave first?

Cool picture. Proves that multi-tiered parking is not a new idea, though some newer implementations are a little more spectacular.

This "park place" was not in Atlantic City but in NYC and it didn't matter who was on the bottom but I hope there was a pan under each of these cars as these were all drippers from new. I wonder if for a few extra bucks you could take a date on a ride and get "stuck"?

Here is a parking lot for a German VW dealer that uses a novel way of storing their cars.

There is a new high rise apartment building going up in Florida I think, that will bring your car, with you still inside, up to your apartment in the same sort of way.

Neat posts..... I would think that a parking lot like this would have been manned by an attendant ? The Atlantic City photo is neat to.
