mechanician
A really neat photo that they posted on theoldmotor.com where you can read more about it.
rocketraider
I was going to say the cars underneath better hope the ones on top aren't leakers, but I see there is a catch pan for that! Then there's always the issue of what happens if the guy on top needs to leave first? J3Studio
Cool picture. Proves that multi-tiered parking is not a new idea, though some newer implementations are a little more spectacular.
bubba
This "park place" was not in Atlantic City but in NYC and it didn't matter who was on the bottom but I hope there was a pan under each of these cars as these were all drippers from new. I wonder if for a few extra bucks you could take a date on a ride and get "stuck"?
bubba
Here is a parking lot for a German VW dealer that uses a novel way of storing their cars.snopes.com: ParkadeThere is a new high rise apartment building going up in Florida I think, that will bring your car, with you still inside, up to your apartment in the same sort of way.bubba
Guest Fred Smith
Neat posts..... I would think that a parking lot like this would have been manned by an attendant ? The Atlantic City photo is neat to.
Rawja
I like this even better. I hate handing over the keys to someone.http://www.nytimes.com/2011/12/04/automobiles/even-on-the-11th-floor-theres-parking-right-out-front.html?_r=1&scp=1&sq=sky%20garage&st=cse
