Dick Kemper
Has the car been modified to include an alternator instead of a generator? Alternators have diodes in them that don't like polarity reversals.Have you measured the current drain under both pos and neg ground configurations, seems to me the readings should be the same. If not start disconnecting things starting with the generator/regulator and see what happens to to the current. to measure the current put an ammeter between the + bat. terminal and the cable end that is intended to attasch to the + terminal.Good Luck
