Guest samford
Ok guys-- I have a 1929 Model A Tudor. The wheels are not stock. They are the later wire wheels. But... the spare wheel in back is completely different. I am looking for just a hubcap to finish it off. Can anybody help me identify what kind of wheel this is, or where to obtain a hubcap for it? Guest prs519
What is the tire size? Budd made some 16s that fit 28-35 Fords.Perry
CarlLaFong
Dumb question perhaps, but why not put original wheels or, at least, 5 that match, on your almost original, numbers matching car?
Guest samford
Great question. Why not replace all the wheels? I am up in Seattle and I cannot find any original wheels. Ideally I would like some wide white wall tires. If anybody has any leads for me locally or online I would like to know where the most affordable and reasonable place to buy either repro wheels or originals would be. As long as they look original!

jpage
Coker tire and most of the Model A suppliers sell the new repro wheels.....Not cheap! Some folks don't know that Model A's were NOT equipped with whitewall tires. They were a dealer option! In fact you got the spare wheel as std. equipment but paid extra for the spare tire. Also the bumpers were extra equipment also ,but I've never seen one without bumpers. I think they were $10.00 extra!
