Have opened up the engine and the water baffle is rusted which is welded to the water inlet manifold. I remember that someone had remade the baffle for the Commander 8 engine. Could that person please contact me as I wish to purchase one. Thanks, Art in Cal.

Thanks, Rex! Yes, I have some of the baffles to replace old rusted ones that look like this:

Here's what a new one looks like. It does not have the stamping around the edge, but it drops in and a few small tack welds hold it in place. I had them laser cut to match the shape of the old one I took out.

Unfortunately, the laser cutting guy was a little more expensive than I had hoped, but even so they are affordable. I do have them available in stock at $35 each plus shipping. They fit the 1929-1937 250 cubic inch (and smaller versions) straight 8 engines. Send me a PM if you want one.
